The bleachers arrived on Monday, August 18!
In coming days the pad will be set and construction of the bleachers will begin.
We’re closing in on construction of the bleachers and press box, but there is still much to be done.

Foundation Ready to be Poured as the Bleachers Arrive at Don Palmer Field
It was a big day on Monday, August 18th at Camden Hills Regional High School. Not only was every sports field full of activity with the official start of fall athletics season, but it also marked the day that the new bleachers arrived by tractor trailer to Don Palmer Field.

As the truck pulled into position the foundation of the bleachers was being readied to pour.  Once the cement pad cures construction of the bleachers will begin. Following construction of the bleachers work on the press box will commence.

If you are a building contractor interested in joining the weekend work crew for the construction of the press box you are encouraged to contact CHRHS Athletic Director, Steve Alex for information on how you can help. Steve can be contacted at 207-236-7800, ext. 414.

We Need Your Financial Support to Complete the Community Bleacher Project

Here is your opportunity to be a part of an exciting new era in area sports and event presentation as Camden Hills Region High School kicks off its “
Community Bleacher Project.”

The centerpiece of the project is a 650 seat set of bleachers and state-of-the-art press box at the CHRHS Don Palmer Field. Our goal is to raise the $175,000 needed to fund the full purchase and installation of the bleachers and press box.

Giving Opportunities
Because we want to make this a true “community” effort the CHRHS administrators have worked with the Superintendent and Five Town CSD to provide a variety of ways for individuals and businesses to contribute to the funding of the “Community Bleacher Project.” Here are the ways you or your organization can contribute:

Option I: Bleacher and Press Box Naming Rights
For the Lifetime of the Bleachers

Individuals, companies, or organizations that pay the full cost of the bleachers or press box will have the right to name that portion of the project. A donor who pays for both parts of the project will have the right to name the entire facility.

The cost of the bleachers is $125,000 (includes installation).
The cost of the press box is $50,000.

For more information on naming rights, please contact Nick Ithomitis.

Option II: Diamond Contributors Sponsor a Staircase
For the Lifetime of the Bleachers

Individuals, companies, or organizations that contribute at least $10,000 to the project will have their individual or business names inscribed on plaques on the risers up the bleacher staircase, and will have a brick named in their honor placed in the Victory Lane Pathway.
